Understanding your Bill

ESB Independent Energy launched a new Customer Care System in 2007. This major investment is a continuation in our commitment to deliver quality customer service. Our new system will better enable us to deliver timely bills to you, quickly resolve to any queries that you might have, and meet all your electricity needs.

You may notice that the look and feel of your bill has changed slightly. One of the changes that you may notice is that we now pro-rate certain costs (e.g. standing charge, max demand charge, service capacity charge). Your charges haven’t increased because of this, it simply means that the charge may vary slightly from month-to-month and is more reflective of the number of days in the month. The overall charge for the year is still the same.
