ESB Independent Energy travels with Translink

ESB Independent Energy (ESBIE) has been awarded the contract to supply electricity to Translink sites throughout Northern Ireland.

Under the two year contract Translink, one of Northern Ireland’s largest companies with over 3,500 employees and £100m turnover, will takes its energy supply for 11 sites from ESBIE and achieve considerable cost savings as a result.

“Translink’s services make over 75 Million passenger journeys every year in Northern Ireland and our electricity supply, which has been tailored by an expert and experienced team, will ensure that they can focus on their core business while we focus on delivering them energy savings,” said Aidan Bradley, Senior Customer Relationship Manager ESB Independent Energy.

Coolkeeragh ESB powerplant was officially opened on June 22 2005 and represents an investment of £200M. Translink services include Metro, NI Railways, Ulsterbus, Enterprise, NIR Travel, Ulsterbus Tours, Coach Hire and Parcellink.
